Ironically, I have a commission for 2 canvases w/Christmas colors. Green, Red & gold. I tried a sandwich pour that was an epic fail. Even though I used a thick consistency, my reds became pink & it just didn’t work to my satisfaction. & I did a marble pour that did work… I am going to try a reverse dip next, & one more technique if I can figure out out haw not to make mud… this is why I hate commissions.

Have you considered premixed paint that's what I use. I don't have all day to play with paint. I get wall-to-wall cells

These are great for background paintings. You can use muted “muddings” for many things. Just think outside the canvas.

Thank you for your service, I know how wars impact our military, not just physically, but mentally. My brother was in the Marine Corps and was deployed to Vietnam. Thank God, he made it home, but he was never the same. He rarely talked about all that happened there because it was so painful. The few things he did share were horrific, and I can't imagine all the other things he didn't talk about. He tried his best to go on with life and be as normal as possible. He also went through divorce, unlike so many other veterans. He's since died, back in 2016. He's in Heaven now where there is no more pain or suffering or death. Thank you never seems enough for our military and veterans. Prayers for each and everyone of you. It breaks my heart thinking of all you've been through and the sacrifices each and every one of you have made. God bless you all💕💕

A good pouring medium is 70 % PVA elmer's glue and 30 % water.

AL pouring medium states 6 to 1. Is that not good?

Your bottles are well shaken; that's good but holding it steady for just a moment would allow to see it and read the label.

Thanks for talking about how you put the serum in the paint and stired. And talked about the thickness of paint. Did not know if you did straight pour needs to be thicker and cells little thinner. And I love Matalic and wondered why I could not get cells. Still learning and not doing. lol Highest it has been in Prescott Valley up north is 95 so far. Feel sorry for the temps you already have in the Valley. Love your work.

Been trying to find info on mixing paint with water only.

How would you go about adding text to paintings if you don't like stencil gaps and have mediocre handwriting? I mean whole poems/paragraphs, not just a word or two.
